Buy and Sell Used Items in Armenia
Buying and selling used items in Armenia can keep useful products in circulation and help people find practical alternatives to buying new. Gnem.am lets individuals publish second-hand listings, search by category and location, and communicate directly about the product. An owner can also set the price to zero when they prefer to give an item away.
The marketplace includes products with different ages and conditions. A precise search may lead to a particular phone or piece of furniture, while browsing can reveal household goods, appliances, clothing, sports equipment, children’s items and tools. Availability changes as users publish, reserve or remove their real listings.

Start with the product category, then use the available filters for price, subcategory and location. Read the condition label together with the full description: “like new” can still mean an item has been used, while “fair” may be perfectly suitable when appearance is less important. Photographs can reveal useful details, but they should not replace questions or an in-person inspection.
Ask what is included, why the item is being sold, whether repairs were made, and whether you can test it. For furniture, confirm dimensions and collection access. For electronics, ask about battery health, ports, accounts, chargers and known faults. For clothing, verify size and measurements rather than relying only on the label.
Selling products you no longer use
A useful listing saves time for both sides. Put the product name and an important detail in the title, photograph it in clear light, and mention scratches, missing parts or functional problems. Choose the real location so nearby buyers can judge travel or delivery, and compare similar listings before selecting a reasonable asking price.
Respond to relevant questions and update the listing when availability changes. Do not describe an item as new if it has been used, and do not conceal damage that a buyer would reasonably want to know. Clear information tends to produce more focused conversations than a short title with no context.
Giving items away in Armenia
Some possessions have little resale value but remain useful to someone else. Setting the listing price to zero marks the item as a gift. Explain its actual condition, whether collection is required, and any deadline for pickup. The recipient should still confirm suitability and arrange transport directly with the owner.
A giveaway is not a reason to skip basic precautions. Avoid publishing private access details, choose an appropriate handover plan, and confirm the recipient before sharing a precise address. Gnem.am does not organize collection or delivery.
Paying and meeting responsibly
Gnem.am does not process payments or provide escrow. Users agree on payments and other conditions between themselves. Inspect and test an item before paying whenever possible, meet safely, and be cautious about advance transfers or requests that move the conversation into an unusual payment arrangement.
Keep the listing details available while you inspect the product and compare what you receive with what was advertised. For higher-value goods, take additional time to check ownership, serial information or relevant documents. If you cannot verify something important, it is reasonable not to proceed.
